In Response To: Are the US Citizen only under the FTC Regulations? (Fredy)
Hi Fredy,
There are other countries cooperating with FTC regulations as documented here.
See the footnotes.
It is my understanding that the Weblaw Generator was infringing on the intellectual property of Bob Silber — and if he is the lawyer who wrote the legal documentation for the WebLaw Generator, he would be the one to answer this question. He specializes in Internet Law and intellectual property, and would be someone who could offer guidance in this matter.
There was an issue come up a while ago where Bob threatened to sue people who were using illegal copies of his documents — to the tune of $150,000.00. I don't recall if it was Weblaw Generator affiliates or not, but I would be checking out just what your rights are with this program... just to be on the safe side.
Regards, Steve MacLellan
