I'm using Open Office version 2.x. It works fairly well, except for some reason I can never get an Access database to open. For me, that's a fairly critical need, and one of these days I'll need to figure out why it doesn't work.
I'm not sure if it's 100% open source (by open source, I usually think of software that uses the GPL), but of course Mozilla and Firefox are also free to use and may be licensed under the GPL, which would make it open source. I use Mozilla's Composer whenever I need to whip up a quick web page. I also use Thunderbird for my email client and Filezilla for FTP.
Best regards,
Tom
