In Response To: Expensive programs - good or not? (Inga-Lill Sandstrom)
Hello Inga-Lill,
Welcome to the forum.
People will often hire me to do web development work costing a few thousand, but I don't think you could classify it as a high ticket item — I don't know, maybe you could.
There are a few affiliate programs I promote once in a while, and sometimes they bring in a little spare change. I don't spend a lot of time at this. Being a small business owner, there are always lots of tasks that need to be done. For the most part, I don't feel promoting affiliate programs is really worth my time, but then I haven't promoted ones that cost over $1000.
If I were going to promote (as an affiliate) a high ticket item, that I didn't buy myself, then it would have to be a product created by someone I know, whose work I trust.
That's my opinion.
Regards,
Steve MacLellan
