Although the eBook is supposed to be free, the link you left was to a squeeze page to capture names and addresses of forum visitors.
The link has been removed. It has been pointed out by various credible sources that Marketing on MySpace can get you into trouble. On another discussion forum I was visiting Tom Brownsword said:
Yes, you CAN market on MySpace. From my perspective, it clearly violates the Terms of Service and puts you at risk of legal action. I strongly advise you to NOT do it. My advice to anybody reading this is to stop trying to make a quick buck by breaking somebody's rules and start working on building a business that will give you a steady income for years to come.
In another message, Tom pointed to an article on a blog, Why MySpace Isn’t MY Space! which tells why it isn't a good idea, and offers this quote:
Non-commercial Use by Members. The MySpace Services are for the personal use of Members only and may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by MySpace.com. …//… Commercial advertisements, affiliate links, and other forms of solicitation may be removed from Member profiles without notice and may result in termination of Membership privileges. Appropriate legal action will be taken for any illegal or unauthorized use of the MySpace Services.
This is another reason why your link was removed. It could entice forum members into pursuing an illegal activity that could get them into trouble.

Steve MacLellan
