Hello Steve,
It's been quite some time since I stopped in here, hasn't it?
MySpace is becoming even more overrun by spam and I recently read reports on how some communities are even being "hijacked" and completely taken over (article at http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/05/14/myspace_spam_blizzard/). If these activities continue, I think that MySpace will realize that they need to take even stronger action to maintain the integrity of the site or risk losing advertising dollars. Nobody wants to visit a site without relevant content, do they?
Also notice (from the article) the "perception" that MySpace's main concern is to keep showing the ads to their 177 million registered users... Ads for which they get paid...
And thanks for the link to my blog post; I'm glad that it is useful.
Best regards,
Tom
