From my experience with business blogging--yes, 20 minutes per day is worth the effort. It's only 20 minutes and in time, your blog will start to move up in the search engine rankings. At present, I have people finding my blog, somehow, I'm not really sure how, and reading my info on there and then finding my links on the blog. It's been good for business. As with anything, you have to be patient. You can also go into the meta of your blog and add the title, keywords, etc. so the spiders will pick up those things. Doing research at least once a month on keywords and constantly changing with the times is also good because those spiders love change and will pick them up. Linking to others similar blogs is also great and will give you higher rankings. Hope this is helpful. In my opinion, it is worth the 20 minutes per day. Although, after a few months you don't have to post everday. You only have to post 2-3 times per week. Again, I hope this is helpful. Just have patience and you will see results. It's only one of many ways to promote yourself, but worth it in the long run.
