Advice-Opinions Needed

I am a book author, a 1998 softcover book initially but now exclusively e-books all on the subject of Biblical prophecy lining up with unfolding current events. The subject material is stunning, if not shocking as to what appears to be coming down the road politically, economically, etc. Even non-religious people are impressed, because its done in a non-religious way. Something akin to Nostradamus-type books only very scholarly with a journalistic approach.

I am monitoring ominous developments in the Mideast involving Iran's nuclear program and Israel versus Hezbollah - plus a sinking economy and all seem to fit the research points of my publications and point towards fulfilling key predictions. Properly promoted, human nature is always drawn towards wanting to know the future. These products meet those desires to know, not from a sensational standpoint so much but rather from a scholarly, thought-provoking view, & toning down the sensational aspects.

I have a book website since 2001, but my primary tool is an online current news and features magazine since 2001, that is free to the public - with a private section for folks who donate to help with overhead costs and more research. This magazine site gets anywhere from 30,000 to 60,000 visitors a month with anywhere from 1,200 to 2,500 uniques according to Webalizer. Another counting program puts it much higher, but I've got doubts. I also have an opt-in e-mail newsletter/alerts Free subscription with 600 steady subscribers.

My problem is - I don't have time to market/promote and at the same time, conduct more research and write new materials. I've tried going the JV route and also affiliate sales, but neither worked. I couldn't find any really suitable affiliates interested. Similar websites in the field aren't interested in doing JV's or affiliates with each other, other than maybe link swapping.

I'm wondering if it is wise to try and find someone to take charge of the marketing and create JVs and or affiliates and split the revenues with the idea that revenues will grow dramatically with the right person who really knows how to market.

Am I right or wrong on this idea? Anyone have any thoughts? Advice?

I can provide links to anyone interested in investigating before offering advice. I'd post links here, but don't want to be thought of as a spammer.
