Hi Steve,

I had a very similar problem a couple of years ago. Tore out what's left of my hair trying to figure it out. :-)

Since then I have heard of similar problems popping up. Let me ask you...

Do you drive traffic to your site via Adwords?

The problems I've heard of stemmed from that. The solution turned out to be to simply stop Adwords for a few days and start again.
