Hi Vernon,

Two things that would increase sales is increasing the number of visitors to your site, and improving the sales copy.

Let's start with increasing traffic...

The first thing you need to do is remove the meta tag: <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow"> from your homepage. This is telling the search engines to stay away, and not to index your site. Of course it would be preferable to have this tag on your download page.

Then you need to work on building up traffic. But you want to convince one time browsers to stick around, so you would do this by offering a newsletter.

A blog would help too. People would return to read the blog, and it would encourage other bloggers to link to you. This would help increase your site visitors and your visibility in the search engines. Google, Yahoo and MSN love blogs with original content. Repeat traffic is very important.

You also need some backend offers. Being a doctor gives you a lot of credibility, even if you are marketing to parents with kids. I would try and come up 2-3 more eBooks, related to the same theme, and then set up a pro account with 1shoppingcart.com. Assign buyers of each product to their own autoresponder so you can cross promote using broadcast to customers who have bought one product, but have yet to purchase the other ones. 1shoppingcart has advanced tools to allow you to sort and segregate your lists based on any given criteria. You could also contact other professional with list and offer them a percentage of the sales if they will promote your product to their list. You can keep track of these campaigns with the 1shoppingcart ad tracker. It will record the clicks, and the sales attributed to that specific campaign, so you know how much to pay your associate(s).

Improving the sales copy...

There are two ways to do this. Learn how to write better copy yourself, or hire someone to do it for you. I would recommend Bob Serling to you. He will write ads, sales letters, web copy, email marketing communications, and just about any other kind of copy for selling your products and services. He also has a written some courses and offers programs where he helps people learn to market their products more effectively. You can learn more about Bob at his website www.directmarketinginsider.com.

Before you go Vernon, there is something else I would like to tell you. The links above to the shoppingcart and to Bob Serling are not affiliate links meaning I have nothing to gain by sharing this information with you. 1shoppingcart is the best virtual backend for a website that I've seen. Bob Serling's advice has helped my business, and I've known him and worked for him these last nine years. The man is a genius.

Over the last 10 years I've been lucky to have worked with a number of professional marketers.

Best Regards,
Steve MacLellan
