Tutorials: CSS/Photoshop and XML Intro

There are two new tutorials at Sitepoint this week. They are fairly long, so make sure you have time to read them if you are interested.

The first one is "Get Cooking with Photoshop and CSS - 3 Low-fat Recipes" you can read here.

The second one, "A Really, Really, Really Good Introduction to XML" can be read here.

Hey Steve, this one is kind of off topic from the post... I see you've made some subtle changes. The font is a bit larger which makes for a more casual read and I love the rounded corners on the blockquotes.

BTW, have you heard from Kevin R. lately?

Hi Paul,

Yes, the font is a little larger, and I changed the color to black from the default dark gray. I think it makes it a little easier to read.

The rounded corners uses CSS that only Gecko based browsers support, so the effect is lost on IE and Opera users.

I heard from Kevin a couple of weeks ago. He emailed me to let me know he was getting an access denied error when trying to visit my site. I had blocked a range of IP addresses, which included his. Oops!
